About the Minnesota Beverage Association

Championing Minnesota's non-alcoholic beverage industry since 1899 through advocacy, innovation, and community partnership.

The Minnesota Beverage Association (MBA) is the trade association that represents the makers and distributors of non-alcoholic beverages in the State of Minnesota.

The MBA was originally called the Minnesota Bottlers Association and was incorporated in Minnesota on October 30th of 1899 as a non-profit corporation with a hand-written document outlining its bylaws. The organization was later renamed the Minnesota Soft Drink Association, then Refreshments Minnesota, before adopting the name Minnesota Beverage Association in 2006.

It continues to advocate for the industry, support consumer choice, and environmental policies that support recycling.
